Review: Ringing in the New Year

Ringing in the New Year Ringing in the New Year by Alexa Riley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

MOST EPIC AR BOOK YET!!!! I absolutely loved Reed and Cami. Reed knew from the get go that Cami was meant for him.
And then to have his oldest fall in his footsteps. Yeah this book is pretty EPIC, IMHO.

Review: The Alpha's Woman

The Alpha's Woman The Alpha's Woman by Carolyn Faulkner
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I have to be honest about this book. I didn't finish it. I gave it my best shot. I stopped at 72%. The DC and rape is not a trigger for me so that didn't bother me. It was the (-) (not sure what they are called) they are like commas I believe. There were way to many of these and the author was adding sentences within the sentence and none of it was necessary. It just got a bit to much for me.
Ok first person (female) POV is fine with me, but every once in a while the author would revert to his POV within the same paragraph.
Speaking of his POV it would have been a lot better had some of the fighting that he was doing all through the book showed up.
I just think this author got to lazy and didn't want to do any research.

I would definitely not recommend this book unless it's free.

I'm loving it. A little suspense, a little drama, some underhanded manipulation.
Can't wait for the next one to come out.

Review: Christmas Vows

Christmas Vows Christmas Vows by Alexa Riley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this little Christmas short read we get to see how really crazy an AR possessive alpha man can get when he finds out someone is trying to sabotage his marriage. Move over, you won't want to be anywhere in the vicinity when Daniel finds out they've lost his marriage license to his Dream Girl.
I highly recommend this book.

Review: The Werewolf Cowboy

The Werewolf Cowboy The Werewolf Cowboy by Camryn Rhys
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I hate leaving reviews like this. I love Krystal Shannan. I have loved all of her books. But with this colabaration with Camryn Rhys not so much. I loved the story. The characters were strong and relatable but, and this is my honest opinion, the steamy parts that were in there were great. Then you have them getting all hot and heavy and it fades to black. This is not what I expect from a Krystal Shannan book. I don't know about Camryn's books. Maybe her steamy parts fade to black. If there had been some action in the book some suspense, something other than him rejecting her it would have been enough to satisfy me. There was nothing in there like that and then to be let down by the steamy parts. SMH. I'm highly disappointed with this book. I may or may not check out the rest of the series. I'm not sure as of right now. Oh it also ends at 88%.

Review: Dragons' Jewel

Dragons' Jewel Dragons' Jewel by Milly Taiden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Great start to a new series.
Authors slow down and take the time to proofread or get someone to do it for you. It makes a good book that much better.

Review: Scrooge Me Again

Scrooge Me Again Scrooge Me Again by Milly Taiden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Loved Zaria and Quint's story. Such a strong couple. I loved the story line.
I just wished these authors would stop rushing and proofread or hire a proofreader. It would make the book so much better. I know I'd rate it with higher stars.

Review: Wolf Signs

Wolf Signs Wolf Signs by Vivian Arend
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Keil and Robyn were strong characters. I loved the instant connection, but his willingness to wait and give Robyn the chance to get use to the idea of wolves and being one stole my heart.

I have to tell ya, I absolutely adore T.J. who is Keil's younger brother.

There were many laughs to be had in this book. I highly recommend it and can't wait to see what's next.

I loved Arsenal and Vicuska. They both believe they are replaceable until the fine each other.
I especially loved Nora. She was quite the little diva. This book was full of action, laughter and love.
I am never disappointed with Cynthia Sax.

Review: Stealing Her

Stealing Her Stealing Her by Alexis Abbott
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Where to start? I'll start by saying I absolutely adore Alexis. I have since I first discovered her.

I liked the bases of this story. I loved the characters. They were wonderful and very likeable.

What I didn't like and don't care for is the first 50% of the book being written in a way that says the same things over and over just in different ways. It gets boring after a while in my opinion. That's why it took me 4 days to read. I just couldn't get into it. I know if I stick with it long enough it gets better. And it did. But this is a pattern that I hope she gets out of.

I still love this author and will continue to read her stories.

Review: Raff

Raff Raff by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Loved the story. I've been waiting on Raff's story.
The reason for the low rating is because these authors want to put out a great book but they don't have a proofreader. I wish they would slow down a little bit and do a better job at either proofreading or get a proofreader.
