Review: Two of a Kind

Two of a Kind Two of a Kind by Ella Goode
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a wonderful short read. Two of a kind gives us Brad the hacker's story. Love Melody and Brad. They both really deserve such a good turn out.
I would love to get Belle's (Brad's little sister) story.
I read an advanced copy of this book.

Review: Daughter of the Dragon: True Mates Generations Book 6

Daughter of the Dragon: True Mates Generations Book 6 Daughter of the Dragon: True Mates Generations Book 6 by Alicia Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved this book. Karim was sooo...yummy. DeeDee was a strong heroin. She started to get on my nerves a little bit, I wanted to screamed at her and tell her to open her mouth and speak. For goodness sake. Anyway this was a good read besides those few times.

Review: Hour of the Wolf

Hour of the Wolf Hour of the Wolf by Dana Marie Bell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love all the good people of Maggie's Grove. Those that aren't trying to kill the others that is. Wow oh wow, Noah was as Alpha as they come. Most of the time that would make them shitheads that needed to learn a hard lesson. Not Noah though, he was sweet, kind, understanding but that didn't make him a sissy boy. It made him very good at what he did. That was protecting everyone he loved and cared about. Iva was just as awesome. Sweet, caring always there to help. This couple made a great pairing. I can't wait to see whose story is next.

Review: Doing Him Good

Doing Him Good Doing Him Good by Abby Knox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finally Boone's story. You've heard the saying a gentleman in the streets but a freak in the sheets. Well that would be Boone. He is so sweet. Well Boone and Delilah both are.
I do wish the story would have followed up more on the troubles he was having.

Review: Dominance and Dissent

Dominance and Dissent Dominance and Dissent by Cynthia Sax
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cynthia Sax does it again. She wrote a fantastic book.
Dissent and Greer were both survivors.
All Dessent wanted was someone to love and protect. All Greer wanted was to be free. Will they each get what they want? Go get the book and find out.
I absolutely loved their story.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Mysterious.
Suspenseful.
Heartwrenching.
Very descriptive.
I've always loved Kristen Proby but she has gone to the next level with this new series.
The only disappointment was that it wasn't steamy.

Loved the story line and main characters. The fight scenes and the steamy scenes were kind of anticlimactic. The proofreading was nonexistent.

𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐄
Swirling snow may have stranded me at this tiny airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve, but it has nothing on the storm raging inside me when he walks into the terminal.
Artemis Warren.
My first love and the man who shattered my world.
I thought I locked my feelings for him safely away in the past, but one look is all it takes for me to drown in his icy blue eyes again.
So much time has passed.
I’m no longer that naïve teenager standing on a beach, wishing the boy would choose me.
Now, I’m hiding a secret that could unravel both our lives.

𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐒
The emergency landing in Nowheresville is more than an inconvenience.
It’s a disaster.
The annual family holiday party in NYC was my chance to make the statement I’ve been dreaming of for so long.
Now, all my best laid plans will have to wait until I can get out of here and back to civilization.
Nothing can salvage this day.
Yet seeing Penelope Barnes again turns this bad situation into the opportunity of a lifetime.
Reuniting with the only woman I’ve ever loved would be the ultimate Christmas gift.
But how can I heal the old wounds and fit into the new life she created?

CHRISTY ANDERSON

Writing with a whole lot of sarcasm and humor, mixed with a bit of Southern charm, Christy Anderson ain’t no sweet tea kinda storyteller. As an author of romance, Christy believes it doesn’t always have to be hearts and flowers; sometimes, it is dark and twisted, but romance nonetheless. She mixes terror, revenge, and a sliver of love and hope into stories about family, friends, struggles, blurred lines, and happily-everafters. Christy lives in the beautiful mountains of Eastern Tennessee with her husband and 152 cats (not really, but close), where she enjoys writing one twist at a time.

Review: Submission: A Dark Daddy Dom Romance

Submission: A Dark Daddy Dom Romance Submission: A Dark Daddy Dom Romance by Sasha Byrne
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I do not like giving any book 3 stars. Even if it's not my type of book. If it is well written I'll still give it 4 stars. But with the way authors are throwing books out there for us to read and its subpar I'm going to start. If you can't take the time to proofread and not repeat yourself (I think some was just copy and pasted) then I'm not giving you above a 3 star. This book would have been a really good book if I could have enjoyed it and not been distracted by all the mistakes. Authors please spend a little bit of money to have someone proofread it. I'm not talking about editors they dont proofread. But get yourself a good proofreader, if you can't afford one slow down and do it yourself. I would definitely make for better reviews.

I like the story but the proofreading sucked so I didn't get to enjoy it.

Review: Bear In Mind

Bear In Mind Bear In Mind by Milly Taiden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Let me start off by saying I loved Quinn. This was not one Of Milly Taiden's best books. For one it was like reading a cereal box. There was nothing really in between. They are shifters so when the shift in anger or in a hurry they ruin their clothes. But for some reason Milly didn't feel the need to go in to depth with this. One minute they shift then the next the miraculously have clothes on again.
And the heroin was not the brightest blub in the pack. She is a PI and she keeps saying she can take care of herself. Guess where that gets her, yep kidnapped and she really didn't put up a fight maybe a little struggle. After she is rescued and Quinn tries to keep her safe she says "hello PI here I can take care of myself" yeah and how did that work out for you last time.
So this wasn't one of my favorites by Milly. It was to rushed but I liked the fast pace. If that makes sense.

Review: Falling for Sky

Falling for Sky Falling for Sky by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finally another Cyborg Seduction story. I loved this book. It had good strong characters that had a sense of humor. Can't wait to see which is next. I only gave it 4 stars because it needs proofreading. But it was a solid 5 star read.

Review: Her Mountain Daddy

Her Mountain Daddy Her Mountain Daddy by K.C. Crowne
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This book was atrocious. I like the Hero and I like the herione at first but then the author did something that turned her stupid. The proofreading was nonexistent, the inconsistencies were awful. Don't waste your time or money on this book. I was lucky and got it on KU but that is several hours I won't be able to get back.
Why must authors waste everyone's time with something like this? She wasn't even trying to put out a good book. She just wanted to make a dollar. Well I'm telling her that I also got the 2nd book on KU and I be returning it without reading it. Not evening going to waste my time.
