Review: Arranged: A Dark Mafia Romance

Arranged: A Dark Mafia Romance Arranged: A Dark Mafia Romance by Vanessa Waltz
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Vanessa Waltz is back to writing what made me pick up her books in the first place. I loved Alessio and Mia. Great couple. Strong characters. I do hope the author writes more of this style. I hate that it took her a few years to get back to it.
I can't wait to see who she writes about next.

Review: Tall, Dark & Furious

Tall, Dark & Furious Tall, Dark & Furious by R.L. Mathewson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

First off let me say that I do love, love, love this series. I love the characters and the story line. I love everything about the story. Loved Trace and Samantha. I enjoyed revisiting past characters and getting caught up with them.
Now for what I don't love about this book. I'm not sure if I've ever noticed this author doing this before. I don't know if she didn't use an editor this time or not. I know she didn't use a proofreader. Story line aside the editing was terrible even confusing at time. The same words used 3 or 4 times in either the same sentence or 3 consecutive sentences. It just made for a terrible reading experience. At the end of the book it gives us a preview of the next book. I noticed she is doing the same thing with the next one too. I hope she gets someone to help or finds a less distracting environment to be able to write and concentrate on what she's doing.

I was so happy to read Heath's story. Is there anything hotter than an assassin?
Then there is Lena. Love this girl really hard. Her quirkiness just pulls you in.
This is a great couple.
Love it when the man will do anything to keep the woman safe.

Oh, Bite Me: Paranormal Dating Agency Oh, Bite Me: Paranormal Dating Agency by Chris Genovese
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Very good book. I don't know what took me so long to read it. It's been on my kindle for well over a year. I'm not waiting that long to read the next.
Good strong characters. Even though the h was terminally ill that did not mean she would let you run over her.
The H was hot and sweet. A great combination in an Alpha.

Now I'm going to read book 2.

**Stopped at 80%

There could have been so much more to this book. I liked the plot and the characters but the author didn't do it justice. I can't remember what I paid for it but the book stops at 80%. So it probably was not worth the price.

Wow Cynthia sure can pack in the emotional damage in such a short story. I shed more tears with this short story than I have with some full length books. Get this free read. I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did.

Review: Sound's Familiar

Sound's Familiar Sound's Familiar by Dana Marie Bell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Great start to this new series

I loved the start of this new series. There is a lot of information to be processed. I would definitely start this series with book one. Carol and Jonah make an excellent duo in both their personal and professional lives. Now what I didn't like about this book was the many mistakes made by the Author, it would be an easy fix if she would just either take her time or pay someone a little money to help her.

King's Ransom by Jane Henry

USA Today bestselling author Jane Henry delves deep into the Russian underworld, with a high-stakes, heart-rending story of betrayal, atonement, and a hard-won happily-ever-after.

He'll make me call him daddy.

Demand my obedience.

Drive me to my knees.

I've been in love with Stefan Morozov for as long as I can remember.

He's fearless. Powerful. A vicious leader of the Bratva underworld.

And he barely notices my existence.

That is, until the day I see something I shouldn't.

The day the man I love makes me his prisoner.

The day my love turns to hate...

Please note: This dark romance features kinky, sexual scenes, including a Daddy Dom, non-consent, and strong elements of violence. If such material offends you, please do not read.

USA Today bestselling author Jane Henry pens stern but loving alpha heroes, feisty heroines, and emotion-driven happily-ever-afters. She writes what she loves to read: kink with a tender touch. Jane is a hopeless romantic who lives on the East Coast with a houseful of children and her very own Prince Charming.

Review: Hour of the Wolf

Hour of the Wolf Hour of the Wolf by Dana Marie Bell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love all the good people of Maggie's Grove. Those that aren't trying to kill the others that is. Wow oh wow, Noah was as Alpha as they come. Most of the time that would make them shitheads that needed to learn a hard lesson. Not Noah though, he was sweet, kind, understanding but that didn't make him a sissy boy. It made him very good at what he did. That was protecting everyone he loved and cared about. Iva was just as awesome. Sweet, caring always there to help. This couple made a great pairing. I can't wait to see whose story is next.
