BLURB

I took her innocence as payment.
She was far too young and naïve to be betrothed to a monster like me.
I would bring only pain and darkness into her sheltered world.

That’s why she ran.
I should’ve just let her go…
She never asked to marry into a powerful Russian mafia family.
None of this was her choice.

Unfortunately for her, I don’t care.
I own her… and after three years of searching… I’ve found her.
My runaway bride was about to learn disobedience has consequences… punishing ones.

Having her in my arms and under my control had become an obsession.
Nothing was going to keep me from claiming her before the eyes of God and man.
She’s finally mine… and I’m never letting her go.

EXCERPT

I rounded the long dining room table putting distance between me and Gregor.
He followed.
“This isn’t about your father or our families or about the damn money. I don’t give a shit about the money. This is about us,” he yelled as he quickened his pace.
Panicking, I pulled out one of the chairs and thrust it in his way. “There is no us! There is nothing between us. We are only bound by blood money.”
Gregor reached down and flipped the chair on its side sending it skidding across the hardwood floor.
I screamed and turned to run.
His hand wrapped around my upper arm. I was propelled backwards till I slammed against the wall. Gregor quickly followed, placing this forearms on either side of my head, caging me in.
“I don’t ever want to hear you say that again. Do you understand me, mалы́шка?”
I was breathing heavily. I breasts brushed against his chest with each inhalation. I could feel my nipples tighten against silk fabric of my strapless bra.
Still, I dared to challenge him. Why not? The damned have nothing to lose. “Say what? The truth?” I viscously spit out, “You’re just the monster whose been chasing me. Nothing more.”
Reaching down, he raised the hem of my dress. His hand a fiery brand on my thigh.
“No! Stop!”
He ignored my protest. Wedging his knee between my thighs, he forced my legs open. His fingers sought out my core, caressing me through the thin fabric of my panties. He leaned down to nuzzle my neck just below my ear.
I bit my lip to stifle a groan.
He shifted his hips so I could feel the hard press of his cock against my inner thigh. “You’re lying to yourself and to me. Does that feel like nothing to you?”
I rolled my head from side to side. “Lust fueled by hatred and revenge. Every kiss taken by force.”
He raised his arm and slammed his fist against the wall, making me cry out. He then clasped his hands over my jaw to cradle my face. His gaze bore into my own before it traveled to my mouth. It looked as if he were going to say something but instead he turned away with an animalistic growl.
I stayed plastered against the wall, afraid to move.
Gregor turned back to me. His eyes dark and cold as steel. “So be it, Samara. I’ll show you just what a monster I can be.”
A terrified scream tore through my body as he tossed me over his shoulder and carried me up the dark staircase to his bedroom.

Shane
The words, Catherine’s debt paid in full are something I never thought would leave my mouth. I’ve struggled back and forth, battling within myself for the man I am and the man who demands restitution.
Decision made. The future is mine.
True happiness may be unattainable but by the time I’m done, I will have everything I want and need. Jolie thinks life with me has been hard; she has no idea of the sacrifice she’ll have to make in the end.
One way or another, all my problems will be resolved, and I dare anyone to get in my way.
Jolie
In seeking his revenge, Shane will accomplish the one thing that sixteen years of separation couldn’t do. He will destroy my love for him. He will make me hate him.
People say life comes around full circle. Well, here I am, back to where it all began, back to where I was so desperate to escape. Only, I’m not that young girl anymore. I’m a sad excuse of her, wanting the girl I used to be back. Her edge. Her fire. Her fight.
Not want. Need. I need the old Jolie if I am ever to survive.
One way or another, I will resolve all of my past, knowing I fought for my son.

Written by Monique Orgeron’s eldest, most beautiful, and intelligent daughter. (My sister is going to hate this part.)
My mom happens to be the most caring, loving, and stubborn person I know, well anyone knows. She gives 100% percent of herself to everyone and has given up so much of herself for my sister and I. For twenty-one years she has poured her heart and soul into making sure we know that we are loved and that we can do anything we put our minds too, but it was about time she figured that out about herself.
Up until this year I hadn’t seen my mom do anything for only her, but this book has allowed her to travel the world through the pages of a book, make new friends, and feel the joy of doing something exciting.
There is a new light behind her eyes and it is just making me feel more joy than she can ever imagine. While she might be annoying most of the time, I am so thrilled that she is finally allowing herself to grow as a person and not spend all of her energy on her family.
It has been a long journey of self-discovery for my mom; she has gone from domestic supermom to domestic goddess throughout the process of writing.
We are so very excited and proud of you! I love you as big as the world.
-Bria and Tony
