Whiskey Sour by Abby Knox

I don't even remember why I can't stand that bouncer named Dash, but natives in this south side neighborhood of Newcastle never do. They simply hand down their family's grudges from one generation to the next. OK, I admit I'm part of the problem. I may enjoy watching Dash walk away from an argument again and again, and maybe I should stop showing up at his bar to provoke him. But he sure is cute when he's angry.

Harper needs to stay away from Crow Bar if she knows what's good for her. Not only is her family sworn enemies of mine, but she's also in danger. But does she listen? No. I don't know how many ways I need to spell it out for her, but if she keeps coming in here with that wicked grin, a body built for trouble and a wit that makes it tough to maintain my composure, she's going to attract all the wrong kind of attention. And I'm the least of her problems.

Series description:

Crow Bar is the rowdiest bar in the city's toughest neighborhood, and its owner is known for employing the kinds of bouncers nobody wants to mess with. Dubbed the Crow Bar Brute Squad, these hardened heroes may have zero bandwidth for anyone's B.S., but they have nothing but time and intense devotion when it comes to the queens that they love.

The oceanside city of Newcastle has everything: glittering skyscrapers, gritty warehouses and everything in between. It's also full of characters that fall fast and hard -- into love, into bad decisions and into danger: Tough, blue-collar guys and even tougher, mouthy broads. When irresistible forces crash into immoveable objects, the resulting tales of love, friendship, and adventure will make you want to pack up and catch the next train to Newcastle. Bring a beach chair! (And maybe a helmet.)

NEW RELEASE - GRUMPY DAD BY ABBY KNOX

Sunny, eccentric Kindergarten teacher Jewel knows how to charm the typical private school parent. Vince, however, is the only one whose outward stubbornness provokes in her a nearly uncontrollable desire to stroke his beard, squeeze his dad bod and stare at him while he watches Burt Reynolds movies. Hey, whatever works to get more help for the PTA bake sale ...

Vince really wishes people would leave him alone. For the most part, they oblige. So why does a gorgeous, relentlessly upbeat Kindergarten teacher keep trying to include him in all this bougie PTA rigmarole? But ... if all this nonsense will help five-year-old Max fit in at this fancy school, fine. Just this once, he'll help; and then everybody'd better leave him alone.

This book is intended for adults ages 18 and up, due to graphic sexual content and language.

Trigger warning: this book contains descriptions of domestic violence committed by secondary characters.

Review: Link'd Up

Link'd Up Link'd Up by Harley Stone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have yet found me another new to me author just this year alone.
I freaking loved Link and Emily. I love this unique spin on the MC romance. Most everything they do is legal and legit. These are the best bunch of guys. I can't wait to get all of their stories.
I love Annabel, Emily's grandmother.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book
