This is book 2 in Nicole Snow's Enguard series.
This is Skylar and Gabe's book.
Skylar is one kick-ass heroin. She thinks she doesn't need anyone. Until Gabe shows up and proves her wrong. Then she hates him for proving her wrong.
Gabe has his own demons he's trying to work on. They just don't seem to hold him back the way Skylar's do.
I really loved these two characters. They are relatable and Nicole Snow is a great world builder.
Highly recommend this book.
